For fishing guides
Get paid for what you know, not just where you take people.
We don’t take a cut of your trips.
Booking, trip prep, and recaps are free — $0 a month, $0 commission, card processing passed to the angler the way you already handle it. Sell what you know on top of that, at your own price.
Trips & deposits
Dates, holds, and money in one place.
Lake-first profiles
Found by the water you actually fish.
Trip recaps
Every day on the water, written up.
Sell what you know
Waypoints and patterns, at your price.
The waters
Anglers look for a lake, not a platform.
Every water gets its own page, and the guides who fish it sit on that page. These are the first ones we’re mapping.
Lake pages open when the first guides on each water do.
Why guides
Three things, done properly.
Built so you can put the phone down.
Trips, deposits, and client details in one place. Anglers book the dates you actually have open, and the details stop living in a text thread you scroll back through at the ramp.
Anglers find you by the water you know.
Every lake and river you guide gets its own page, and your profile sits on it. Someone looking for a guide on Namakagon finds the people who actually fish it.
Get paid for what you know.
Waypoints, seasonal patterns, what's working and when — sold as a subscription to the anglers who already trust you, at a price you set. It doesn't replace a day in the boat. It's income that isn't capped by the days you can be in one.

Trip recaps
Write the day down once.
The client gets a recap worth keeping. You get a record of the water.
- 01
Mark it while you're out there
Drop a waypoint, log a fish, note the lure and the depth. Thirty seconds, one hand, wet screen.
- 02
The recap writes itself
Pins, species, conditions, and what worked — laid out under your name and sent to the angler before they're off the water.
- 03
The same day becomes intel
That capture is already a draft intel post for your subscribers. You wrote it once.
Why we’re building it
In a world where technology is accelerating past all of us, time on the water with someone who knows it deeply has never mattered more.
We’re not the destination. The guide is. We’re the rails underneath, and the better we do our job, the less you notice us.
Pricing
Free for guides. Actually free.
We make money when you make money on intel, and only then. Trips are yours.
Booking, trip prep & recaps
- No commission on your trips. Not now, not later.
- Card processing is passed through to the angler.
- Every feature. No tiers, no upgrade prompts.
Lake intel subscriptions
- You choose what goes out and what stays yours.
- Set your own season length and price a pass to match.
- You keep most of it. This is the only place we make money.
Founding guides
Use it this season and you keep the paid tier for good.
There will be a paid tier eventually — priority placement, a custom domain on your own page, subscriber analytics, and more as we build it. Guides who put real trips through Guidelander this season get it for life. Booking, trip prep and recaps stay free for everyone regardless.
We’d rather tell you what that tier is once it exists than sell you a list of features today.
Put your name inQuestions
The things guides ask first.
- $0
- Commission on every trip you run
- $0
- A month, forever, every feature
- 15
- Guides we're talking to first
It's free. So how do you make money?
Only on intel subscriptions, and only if you choose to sell them. We take a cut there and nowhere else — you keep most of it. Trips are yours. No commission on a booking, no monthly fee, no upgrade tier holding a feature back.
What does card processing cost me?
Nothing. Processing is passed through to the angler at checkout, the same way most guides already handle it.
Do I have to sell intel?
No. Plenty of guides will only ever use the booking side, and that stays free forever. The subscription is there if you want another way to get paid for what you know.
Does selling waypoints hurt my guiding?
It shouldn't, and we'd rather you set the line. You choose what goes out and what stays yours. Intel doesn't replace a day in the boat — it keeps you in someone's season until they book the next one.
What do I actually get today?
Right now, a conversation. We're talking to fifteen to twenty guides before we build much more, and the first design partners shape what gets made.
Before we build the rest
We’re looking for fifteen guides to talk to.
Not a demo. A conversation about how you run your season now, and what would actually be worth switching for. If that’s you, leave your email.
